Sandcastle Waterpark is an award-winning attraction with an outstanding reputation for its accessibility.

Following the introduction of Accessibility Guides as a replacement for Access Statements in 2017 John Child, Managing Director, asked us to convert their existing Access Statement to one of the new VisitEngland / VisitScotland Accessibility Guides.

We assessed the waterpark’s existing Access Statement and evaluated how this could be converted to the new Accessibility Guide format.

Inputting information, measurements and photographs as well as collecting information to fill gaps in the data required, we compiled a new, comprehensive, Accessibility Guide for the waterpark.

This new Guide provides comprehensive detail of each area of the waterpark to facilitate a better customer experience for guests with access needs.
