The ‘new normal’

/The ‘new normal’

For some disabled people,  aspects of the ‘new normal’ have made life a little easier:

For example:

Better information in advance of venturing out

helps disabled people plan their visit to suit their needs

Fewer visitors

means more time for staff to offer assistance
and a more personal service

Clearer signage, more personal space and reduced clutter

makes many places easier to negotiateand creates a calmer environment

The need to reserve tables in advance, combined with table service

creates a better, more personalised customer experience

An increased focus on hygiene and sanitisation

makes environments safer for vulnerable visitors such as those who have been shielding

Everyone has realised just how important toilets are…

and the inconvenience of having no ‘convenience’!
